Moncler has supported the 23rd edition of amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS during the Cannes Film Festival, at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes.
Once again Moncler has been the partner of the after party that has taken place yesterday night on the terrace of the Eden-Roc, one of the most bewitching locations on the Cote d’Azur. This year, the preparations have been overseen by Moncler in conjunction with Los Angeles artist duo FRIENDSWITHYOU – Samuel Albert Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III – which the brand also worked with for a special collection of puffer jackets, clothing and accessories for the Fall/Winter 2016 collection. FRIENDSWITHYOU gave an original, tongue-in- cheek interpretation of the Moncler world thanks to their post-pop icons and vivid imagination.
MONCLER GAMME BLEU reflects the synergy of Moncler’s expertise in active sportswear and outerwear with the hand-made tailoring sensibility of Thom Browne. For Spring-Summer 2017, the concept is based loosely on American Boy Scouts and camping.
The Boy Scout uniform has been represented in three groups: the khaki group, the khaki, white, forest green, brown check group and formal group in brown and forest green. The quintessentially Thom Browne tailored pieces have all been made with Moncler’s technical fabrics and with many deep box pleated pockets, used throughout the collection to give a true utilitarian aesthetic.
Moncler’s Spring-Summer 2017 collection designed by Thom Browne has been presented in June 19th in Milan with a concept based loosely on American Boy Scouts and camping.
